Wood Windows – a new life

These windows leaked and all the putties had dried up. The finish was very dull and lifeless. Once the windows had been cleaned down, all the putties were resealed using a special sealant which does not dry up. The product used was Windowcare Dryseal.

Then the windows received 2 coats of Osmo U.V. satin finish. Brought back to Life!

Barn Restoration

A barn we were commissioned to restore. First, we had to strip off the roof, construct new joists and fit them. We then added the roofing membrane and replaced the tiles. Then we fitted new guttering. We also re-pointed the building as we went along. The end game was clearing the ‘jungle’ of rockery and shrubs in the front. Result!

Fence Panel Replacement

The old panels were well and truly gone, falling apart, so we set about digging them out, battling with the surrounding roots and vegetation – warm work in August!

Old, rotten, panels removed. On to installing the new concrete posts, cemented in, gravel boards added and fence panels slid in place. Carefully installed to be inline with the existing hedge – the finished job pleasing to the eye.
